Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
This policy explains what data Ratio collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: practice works without an account, and we collect as little as possible.
1. What we collect
- Guest practice data — practice progress stored locally on your device (your browser's local storage). We never see it unless you create an account.
- Account data — the name and email you provide at sign-up, used to sign you in and sync progress across devices.
- Purchase records — books and subscriptions you buy, kept for billing and to grant access. Payment details are handled by Razorpay and never reach us.
- Basic usage data — aggregated, anonymised analytics from the hosting provider (e.g. page views) used to improve the service.
2. Where data lives
Account and progress data is stored on Supabase, our database provider. The website is hosted on Vercel. Both are industry-standard providers with data processed in accordance with their own security practices.
3. How we use data
- To run the service: sign-in, syncing progress, granting access to purchases.
- To improve questions and features.
- To send essential service communications (e.g. receipts). We do not sell your data.
4. Cookies and storage
We use authentication tokens (stored securely) and local storage for guest progress. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
5. Your rights
- Access a copy of your data on request.
- Delete your account and data at any time.
- Opt out of any future marketing (we don't send any today).
Write to amayos.studio@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
6. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, where possible, notify account holders.
